House of Type Typhography -

House of Type, the artist’s entity, supported by ARCOLABS Surya University introduces a new aesthetic in form of a hybrid between Art and Design. Kaerun, The artist is showcasing a series of works titled Collisio(n). Collisio(n) is composed of different media including painting, print, and silkscreen, where the physical form of the letter “n” dominates compositions while the other letters – c, o, l, l, i, s, i, o – are presented in deconstructed form and scattered around “n.” Stretching and distorting, pushing and pulling one another, this series of works provokes the spirit of collision – not just in its physical forms but in the converging of cultures of our contemporary era. A graphics and art-inspired exhibition by House of Type will be held at Galeri Salihara, Jakarta from February 26 to 27, 2016.
